My journey in healthcare began in 2009, and over the years, it has profoundly influenced my personal and professional development. A pivotal moment in my life was my experience with postpartum depression following the birth of my first child. At the time, I struggled to fully comprehend the depth of my feelings, which left me feeling isolated and confused. This difficult period ignited my passion to help others facing similar challenges. I wanted to support women grappling with perinatal mood disorders and the emotional turbulence often triggered by hormonal changes. Throughout my career, I have understood that while medication can be an effective tool in the journey to mental wellness, it is just one part of a larger toolkit. I strive to guide individuals toward discovering alternative methods and holistic approaches that can enhance their mental health and well-being. My ultimate goal is to create a compassionate environment where people can explore various paths to healing and find the support they need.
One of my primary areas of focus is the well-being of children. When a child encounters difficulties, it creates ripples that affect the entire family dynamic. I provide support to parents grappling with the challenges of raising children. Often, parents find themselves needing mental and emotional support, as their attention can become concentrated on a child who is facing challenges. This shift in focus may inadvertently leave siblings feeling neglected, causing them to exhibit attention-seeking behaviors. Children can often express feelings of inadequacy, believing they don’t measure up to expectations or that they are less important. My dedication lies in empowering families to navigate these complexities, fostering an environment where everyone can thrive. I aim to guide families toward cultivating a more harmonious, balanced life that nurtures both the needs of the child and the well-being of the entire family unit.
